Yaki Niku | BBQ
Japanese style BBQ also known as Yaki Niku, uses thinly slice pieces of meat, such as pork, chicken or beef. It’s very different compared to BBQs back in Canada, where we eat hamburgers, hot dogs, ribs and steaks.
Once the meat is grilled, we dip in a sweet soy sauce infused with garlic, ginger, sesame oil for flavor.
I definitely prefer the Japanese BBQs over the North American BBQs because the cooking time is considerably less, no waiting around, allowing us to eat at our pace without worrying about food getting cold or being over cooked.

Only problem with this type of BBQ... everyone smells like a fry cook when they leave the restaurant.
