Kobe Recontracting Conference

The recontracting conference provided workshops ranging from teaching, studying Japanese to life in Japan and how to pick up checkout chicks. It's actually a slide from a presentaion by Will Jasprizza on how to study Japanese. The main point is having no fear or shame, speaking to anybody and everybody is the best way to learn the language.

Genki English was another good presentation, showing methods to make learning English fun. Again, there was a lot of emphasis learning any language is a skill, one can't be shy, because she = can't communicate. Richard also listed 101 cool things to do while on JET.

One thing they never talked about and something that should be covered in future orientations is needing a strong liver before coming on the JET Programme. Lots of drinking.

Got a chance to meet with other Canadian JETs and sharing their JET experiences. It was good to hear "eh" again.
